Canada pressing on a blue disc, the image on the disc resembles a reel-to-reel tape. There is a second pressing on a black and white disc, with the same image. There is a third pressing on a CD-r, which has a cheap paper insert where original pressings have a detailed insert. This is an outstanding release of Morrison reciting his poetry, which happens to be Jim's complete poetry session before it was used as part of An American Prayer. It is rumored that the second track is a recording of Jim and two street musicians (Jomo And The Smoothies) drunk in Paris, but that has never been confirmed. Other sources say the second track was recorded in LA. Compare the poems read on this disc with poems from Wilderness and The American Night. They are almost exactly as recorded. Overall this high quality disc is a must have!

Tracks

  1. 1Jim Morrison Poetry Session/Far Arden/Tales From The American Night
  2. 2Last Recording Session/Guitar Tuning & Chats/Orange County Suite
