The Doors' third official Elektra US release. There is a sense of change on this album. The Doors' seem to be focusing on what, at the time, the pop magazines call the 'teenie boppers'. This doesn't make the die hard Doors' fans happy. Nevertheless, the album is a success. The controversial 'The Unknown Soldier' shakes up some emotions with its release. The Doors also produce a video that is played at their concerts for 'The Unknown Soldier', which eventually is banned. Interestingly enough, the title track, 'Waiting For The Sun', is not included on this album. Overall, an exciting and stimulating production of some of The Doors' best work. Recommended.
